(Swiss- French-Austrian) Born in Bern, Stephan Grögler studied music (violin) before joining the « Hochschule » in Vienna to study opera directing. In 1995-98 he was appointed director in residence at the OpéraNational deLyon. From then on, he signed his own productions and sets. Soon he will be performing the premiere at the Beijing National Opera NCPA of « Snowwhite » children's opera in Chinese and the revival of « Les Contes d'Hoffmann » with Pinchas Steinberg also at the NCPA.
The Dresden-born conductor gained international attention with his sensational substitutions at short notice of Valery Gergiev in the “Ring of the Nibelung” (Wagner) and “Parsifal” at the MARIINSKY THEATRE St.Petersburg and “Lohengrin” at the BASTILLE. From 1998 to 2002 he was Austria’s youngest chief conductor at the STADTTHEATER KLAGENFURT. Other Music Director’s positions include the Ekaterinburg Opera House (Russia) and the Finnish National Opera Helsinki (until 2016). He is a permanent guest conductor at the Vienna State Opera and Mariinsky in St. Petersburg.

MAGDALENA WEINGUT, after studying theater studies in Munich and numerous internships (including at the Bavarian State Opera), she worked first at the Theater Regensburg and the Staatstheater Wiesbaden as assistant director in the field of music theater. For 3 years she lives in Paris, works as a freelance assistant director and director and supervises numerous scenic new productions (eg at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam, the Staatstheater Darmstadt, the Royal Opéra de Wallonie Liège and the Paris Opéra de Bastille). Since summer 2016 she works as assistant director at the Bayreuth Festival, where she staged there the resumption Parsifal.
BENJAMIN SCHAD, from 2002 studied stage direction at the College of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt/Main, in the classes by Hans Hollmann and Christof Loy. His own directing work led him to the Frankfurt Opera (Mozart und Salieri” and a scenical version of Mozart#s Requiem), the Teatro Poliziano Montepulciano (Dido and Aeneas), the Giessen Civic Theatre and Wiesbaden State Theatre. Sinze 2008, he has been engaged at the Cologne Opera as stage manager and assistant director.
RUPERT DUSSMANN, studied in London and during the last 20 years worked at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels, at the Stuttgart State Theatre, the Hamburgische Staatsoper and the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin under Daniel Barenboim. In addition, he is regularly free-lancing at the Nederlands Opera Amsterdam, the Vienna Theater an der Wie, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Salzburger Festspiele and Opera Australia in Sydney. For the last two years, he has been working as director of studies with the National Opera Studio in London.
DAVID HAUSKNECHT, born in 1992, the Czech pianist received his first piano lessons at the age of six at the Prague Music School. During his subsequent piano studies with Prof. Frantisek Maly at the Jan Neruda High School in Prague, he received additional training as a conductor by Jiri Smutny. Since the age of twelve, he has participated in renowned masterclasses for piano. He made his debut in 2006 with Mozart's last piano concerto KV 595 at the Prague Rudolfinum with the Czech Philharmonic under the baton of the conductor Zdenek Macal.
VSEVOLOD DVORKIN, was born in 1972 in Moscow (Russia). He was 5 years old when he began to play piano. He attended the Music School for Children (where he has taught afterwards for three years) under the guide of prof. N. A. Petrova and later the Special Music School "Gnessins" of Moscow under the guide of prof. E. V. Tolkunova. He continued his studies at the Conservatory "P. Ciaikovskij" of Moscow where he graduated in 1995 with prof. V. V. Gornostaeva and prof. N. V. Troull.
SVETLANA SMIRNOVA, studied at the Tchaikovsky Musical College (piano classes) in Yekaterinburg (1991-1995). After she had graduated from the Ural State Conservatoire with distinction (1995-2000), she completed a postgraduate program there (2000-2013). As a pianist, she participated in productions that have been led by conductors such as Michael Güttler, Fabio Mastrangelo, Pavel Klinichev, Mikhail Granovsky, Konstantin Chudovsky, Oliver von Dohnanyi, Tugan Sokhiev, Yannis Pouspourikas, Vello Pähn among others. She works with singers individually to help them prepare their programs for concerts and competitions, also accompanying them in competitive programs in Russia, Holland, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Spain, Czech Republic among others.
ERWIN JUTZ, has moved to the theater after studying physics. His engagements have taken him to various stages including Cologne, Bremen, Hamburg, Heidelberg. Since 2002 he is a freelance lighting designer (opera, drama, musical, dance, exhibition) in Dresden, Kiev, Odessa, Krakow. Since 1990 regularly at the Bregenz Festival.
SUSANNAH HABERFELD, Media & Public Relations, began her musical career with her education at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, followed by the Biel Opera Studio and the Accademy d'Européen d'Aix-en-Provence. Great Britain, Ireland, France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Finland, Israel and Switzerland were stops on their musical path. She has worked with highly demanding directors and conductors throughout her career, including Peter Brook, Claudio Abbado, Daniel Harding, Patrice Chérau, Pierre Boulez, Cihan Inan, Hendrik Müller, Barbara Rucha, Yoshi Oida, Esa Pekka-Salonen, Frank Hilbrich , Dieter Kaegi, Omri Nitzan and David Stern.
